Electoral Bond: The Election Commission of India on Thursday released the data related to electoral bonds received from State Bank of India on its website. In which it has been revealed that 25 political parties of the country are receiving donations through electoral bonds. It includes the names of major parties of Uttar Pradesh including BJP-Congress, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party. After the announcement of electoral bond figures, this question is repeatedly arising in everyone's mind that which political party has received funds through electoral bonds and which has received the most funds.
Know who got how much fund
According to the data released by the Election Commission, Bharatiya Janata Party has received the highest fund of Rs 60.60 billion, followed by West Bengal's Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool at second place with Rs 16.09 billion and Congress at third place with Rs 10.09 crore. Funds worth Rs 14.21 billion were received.
SP got funds worth Rs 14 crore
Talking about the major political parties of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party and Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party, SP is at sixteenth place in the list given by the Election Commission, SP has received a fund of Rs 14 crore. Bahujan Samaj Party's name is not in this list. There is no mention of BSP anywhere in the 426 page report. Whereas SP's name has been taken 46 times. In the report submitted by SBI to the Election Commission, the name of SP has been mentioned as Adarsh Samajwadi Party.
These companies bought electoral bonds
According to the data released by the Election Commission, the companies that bought the most electoral bonds in the name of helping political parties include Grasim Industries, Megha Engineering, Piramal Enterprises, Torrent Power, Bharti Airtel, DLF Commercial Developers and Vedanta Limited. Names of companies like Apollo Tyres, Lakshmi Mittal, Edelweiss, PVR, Cventure, Sula Wine, Welspun, Sun Pharma are included.
Let us tell you that after the strict order of the Supreme Court regarding electoral bonds, State Bank of India had given the information in two pen drives, after which the Election Commission had uploaded all the data on the website on March 14. Complete information is given in two parts. In the first part, the names and amounts of those who bought the bonds are given as per date. In the second part, the names of the parties redeeming the bonds are given.
