Shahjahanpur (UP): The father of an alleged rape victim has apologized for making false allegations. Self-made Baba Asharam was accused of raping a girl in Jodhpur in 2013, and as a result Asharam was sentenced to life imprisonment. But now the girl herself has said that she has made false allegations.
In a video released in this regard, the girl's father is seen saying, “Please forgive us. My daughter has made false allegations that Asharam raped her when she was 16 years old.”
Following the incidents, the police have provided special security to the girl's family. The SP said that his father has also been provided security.
It is well known that self-styled Baba Asharam was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Jodhpur Court in 2018 for the crime of rape.
