6 new schemes will be launched on the occasion of completion of two years of the government: Chief Minister

Shimla, 09 December (Hindustan Reporter). Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu today reviewed the preparations for the rally being organized to commemorate the completion of two years of the state government at Luhnu Maidan in Bilaspur. He instructed the district administration to ensure proper arrangements for this rally. This rally will start on 11th December at 11 am.

The Chief Minister said that more than 30 thousand people are likely to participate in this rally. This function will be organized on the theme ‘Self-reliant Himachal through system change’. He directed the administration to ensure that all arrangements are made according to the number of people coming to the rally, so that no one faces inconvenience.

The Chief Minister also gave necessary instructions to the district administration Bilaspur to make proper arrangements for vehicles and smooth operation of traffic. He also gave instructions to make proper arrangements for clean drinking water, toilets and food items for the people coming to the rally. He said that six new schemes would be launched on the occasion, including e-taxi under Rajiv Gandhi Start-up Self-Employment Scheme, Indira Gandhi Sukh Shiksha Yojana to provide higher education to children of widows, Himachal Pradesh Shiva Project, Him Bhog. The procurement scheme for flour, cow dung and procurement of naturally produced maize involves transfer of funds to the concerned farmers. Apart from this, five Ayush mobile vans will also be flagged off.

He said that checks would also be distributed to the beneficiaries of the Old Pension Scheme and Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana. He said that freedom fighters will also be honored by the state government during the function.

Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee in-charge and All India Congress Committee general secretary Rajiv Shukla would be the chief guest at the function.

The Chief Minister also issued necessary guidelines to the Deputy Commissioners who participated in the meeting through virtual medium.
