Samajwadi Party MVA will leave: After the crushing defeat in Maharashtra elections, the opposition alliance MVA is showing no signs of coming out of the crisis. Now Samajwadi Party has decided to separate from the Mavia alliance. Maharashtra SP chief Abu Azmi said the Samajwadi Party will leave the opposition MVA over Shiv Sena’s (UBT) stand on the Babri Masjid demolition.
…then Abu Azmi got angry!
Samajwadi Party has two MLAs in Maharashtra. Maharashtra SP Chief Abu Azmi Said, Shiv Sena (UBT) had given an advertisement in the newspaper to congratulate those who demolished Babri Masjid. His (Uddhav Thackeray) colleague has also posted on Facebook praising the demolition of the mosque.
Azmi said, we are leaving MVA. I am talking about Akhilesh Yadav. The SP has taken this step in response to the post of Sena (UBT) MLA Milind Narvekar on the demolition of Babri Masjid. Narvekar posted the photo of Babri demolition and also wrote this statement of Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray, ‘I am proud of those who did this.’ The Shiv Sena (UBT) secretary also posted pictures of Uddhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and himself in the post.
If someone from MVA speaks such language, what is the difference between him and BJP? Why should we stay with them? On this occasion, Azmi has also raised such a question.
How much will MVA be affected?
SP has taken this decision yesterday while celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992. Although this decision of SP will not cause any major blow to the MVA alliance, what is important is the timing and reason. After joining Maavit, Uddhav’s tone towards Hindutva has completely softened. He is moving forward on the path of Congress, but his stand on Babri Dam demolition remains the same as before. SP has raised this issue.
In the recent Maharashtra Assembly elections, the BJP-led Mahayuti Aghadi won a decisive victory over the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in a one-sided contest. Mahayuti has won 230 seats out of 288, out of which BJP has got 132, Shiv Sena has got 57 and NCP has got 41 seats. Meanwhile, the MVA managed to secure only 46 seats, while the Congress won a total of 16 seats.
