Chief Minister made his first public communication in the Public Service and Public Outreach Office

Srinagar 07 December (HS). In an important step towards enhancing direct interaction with the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held his inaugural public interaction at the Chief Minister’s Public Services and Public Outreach Office – named Raabta. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that this office has been established to provide a dedicated platform to address public grievances and build healthy relations between the government and citizens.

About 15 delegations representing various social, cultural and business groups called on the Chief Minister.

Issues focusing on economic challenges, cultural preservation, employment concerns and regional development were discussed and brought to the attention of the Chief Minister. Unique cultural heritage conservation also featured prominently in the discussions with delegations advocating initiatives to promote the rich heritage of Jammu and Kashmir, preserve local languages ​​and implement social welfare programmes. The Chief Minister listened carefully to these concerns and stressed the need for a united approach to protect the unique identity of the region.
