The Supreme Court had said that no dispute will arise regarding religious places in future, this statement of the Supreme Court is now proving to be a lie. Right now, creating controversy over Varanasi’s Gyanvapi Mosque and other religious places is against the promise.
Anees Mansoori stressed that to save India’s Ganga-Jamuni culture and communal harmony, it is necessary to curb such disputes. The purpose of the Constitution and the courts is to ensure equal justice and peace for all, and not to promote the interests of any one class. Pasmanda Muslim community has full faith in the Constitution of the country and will continue to oppose any kind of communalism.
