To keep the knowledge preserved in the Vedas, Puranas and Smritis alive till date, Sanatan is also safe today only through Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran written by Lord Vyas, Maharishi Valmiki’s Ramayana and Ramcharitmanas written by revered saint Goswami Tulsidas and the followers of Sanatan Dharma are able to remember their past times. One can gain knowledge of science, religion, tradition and way of life.
These things were said by Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati while addressing in the Aradhana Mahotsav starting from Saturday in the room of Shri Majjyotishpeethadhishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Brahmalin Swami Shantanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj of Adi Jagadguru Shankaracharya Temple. He said that according to the Guru tradition of Srimajjyotishpeeth, a 9-day Aradhana Mahotsav is organized every year in the Ashram located at Alopibagh to pay respect, honor and tribute to those Gurus who have merged with Brahma.
At the beginning of the program, Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati, present at the Lord Adishankaracharya Temple, presented the greetings of Lord Adishankaracharya, Jyotishpeethoddharak Shankaracharya, Brahmalin Brahmanand Saraswati, Jyotishpeethadhishwar Brahmalin Swami Shantanand Saraswati, Jyotishpeethadhishwar Brahmalin Swami Vishnu Devanand, Lord Radhamadhav, Lord Chandramauleshwar, Rajarajeshwari, Mata Tripurasundari, Performed puja and aarti of Shri Ramcharitmanas book.
Kathavyas Acharya Om Narayan Tiwari, who came from Madhya Pradesh, through his pithy story, while describing in detail the glory of Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran and the virtuous results obtained from listening to the story of Puran, said that Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran is the last work of Vyas ji. Vyas ji is the incarnation of God himself. He said that a person is covered with a veil of ignorance, that is why he cannot see knowledge. When we believe in God from our heart, then God resides in our heart. In reality, the one who dies is the one who forgets God.
Dandi Sanyasi Swami Vinodanand Maharaj, Swami Brahmanand Saraswati, Brahmacharya Puri Maharaj, former Vice Principal Pt. Shivarchan Upadhyay, Bundelkhand co-province preacher Munish Kumar etc. took blessings by garlanding the picture of Shrimadjyotishpeethadhishwar Brahmalin Swami Shantanand Saraswaji. Manish Kumar and Sitaram Sharma honored Kathavyas Om Narayan Tiwari by covering him with a shawl and garlanding him. From 7 am to 12 noon, Pyare Mohan, who came from Jaipur, along with his friends, recited the composed Navanh Parayan (recitation) of Shri Ramcharitmanas.
About 400 devotees including Pt. Vipin Mishra Maharaj, Pt. Abhishek Mishra, Pt. Manish, Rajesh Rai, Deepak Kumar Pandey, Anurag Tripathi and women participated in the program. Finally, Bhadra Rudrabhishek program of Lord Maidaneshwar Mahadev was organized from 7 o’clock. Shrimadjyotishpeeth spokesperson Omkanath Tripathi said that the daily Aradhana Mahotsav program in the ashram will continue like this till December 15.
