Vindhya Corridor has been constructed on the lines of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in the famous Maa Vindhyavasini temple of Mirzapur. The foundation stone of this project was laid by Home Minister Amit Shah and now it has emerged as a historic project, which is going to give a new direction to religious tourism not only in Uttar Pradesh but in the entire country.
The total cost of Vindhya Corridor is Rs 331 crore, and with the construction of this project, devotees visiting Mirzapur will now benefit from better and convenient arrangements. For ease of visiting the temple, full care has been taken of circumambulation path, paved ghat, direct entry from Mother Ganga to the temple and other facilities. Now this route has become more convenient for the devotees.
