Bihar BPSC Exam: Students have come out on protest regarding the changes made in the rules of 70th BPSC preliminary exam in Bihar. In fact, thousands of students are protesting outside the BPSC office in the capital Patna against the change in the rules of the BPSC examination to be held on 13th December. On Friday (6 December), the police also lathi-charged the protesting students and took the controversial teacher ‘Khan Sir’ into custody. However, he was later released.
Why was he detained?
It is noteworthy that Khan Sir was protesting with the candidates in Gardanibagh. Then the police took him into custody from the crowd. However, a large number of students gathered outside the police station gate and started raising slogans demanding his release. After which the police let them go. Candidates are protesting against the normalization of 70th BPSC PT.
What did the BPSC Chairman say?
BPSC Chairman Ravi Manubhai Parmar’s statement has come on this. He has said that ‘Normalization will definitely be implemented from the next examination. That means normalization will be implemented from the 71st PT exam. The Speaker appealed to the candidates through the media and said that when normalization was not implemented then why protest? Everything was told in the advertisement. It is wrong to skip exam preparation and perform unnecessarily. When the examination is being conducted in the same shift and on the same day, then where did the normalization come from? Several sets have already been mentioned in the advertisement.
What is generalization?
Normalization is a process by which the marks obtained in an examination are normalized. This procedure is adopted when the examination is conducted in more than one shift. With the help of normalization the percentage of candidates is calculated on the basis of marks obtained in the examination.
