Jaiswal fell in ICC rankings despite scoring a century, Jaddu at number 1 without playing a match

There has been a major change in the ranking of batsmen in the ICC Test Rankings before the second Test of the series between India and Australia in Adelaide. India’s young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored a brilliant century in the Perth Test, has dropped two places from second to fourth position. England’s Harry Brook has moved from fourth to second place. Kane Williamson is at third place while New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell is at fifth place.

Two Indian batsmen in top-10:

Despite slipping to number four, Yasawi remains India’s top-ranked batsman. According to this, Rishabh Pant is in sixth place. Two Indian batsmen are included in the top ten. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill, who scored centuries in the Perth Test, have fallen one place each to 14th and 18th position.
