Six people died in Chitrakoot road accident

Chitrakoot, 06 December (Hindu). On Friday morning, near Rapura police station of Chitrakoot district on Jhansi-Mirzapur National Highway, Bolero coming from Prayagraj went out of control and collided with a truck coming from the front. In the accident, six people riding the Bolero died on the spot, while five people were seriously injured. The condition of two of them was serious and after first aid in the district hospital, they were referred to Prayagraj Medical College.

Nanhe (65), a resident of Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, had gone to Prayagraj with his family for immersion of ashes. While returning after Sangam bath, his car collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction near Raipura police station in Chitrakoot district on Jhansi-Mirzapur National Highway. Along with Nanhe, Hariram (45), Mohan (45), Ramu (44), Mangana (65) and Ramswaroop Yadav, who were traveling in the Bolero, died in the accident. While Jamuna (42) Kamta, Phula (40) wife Jamuna, Raj Ahirwar (18) son Jamuna, Akash (15) son Jamuna, an unknown person are seriously injured. They were admitted to the district hospital, out of which the condition of two of them became serious and after first aid, the doctors referred them to Prayagraj Medical College. All the deceased and injured are residents of Gulganj police station area of ​​Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh.

On receiving information about the incident, District Magistrate Shivsharanappa GN and Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh reached the district hospital to inquire about the condition of the injured. Instructed CMO and CMS to make better arrangements for the injured.

Superintendent of Police Arun Kumar Singh said that this tragic road accident happened due to the Bolero driver dozing off. Panchnama of all the bodies has been done and sent to the mortuary for postmortem.
