Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav is angry over the new seating arrangement in the Lok Sabha. Under this change, Ayodhya MP Awadhesh Prasad has been given a place in the second row. Akhilesh Yadav says that Congress did not inform him in advance on this issue, whereas being the main opposition party in India Alliance, it was the responsibility of Congress to allot seats.
Displeasure over reduction in first row seats
According to sources, the government has reduced the number of seats for the Samajwadi Party in the first row from two to one. Due to this, now only Akhilesh Yadav has got a place in the first row.

Interestingly, senior DMK leaders TR sand requested the Congress to allow him to sit in the front row near Rahul Gandhi. The incident further exposed the lack of coordination between the opposition parties.
SP complained to Lok Sabha Speaker
Samajwadi Party has spoken to the Lok Sabha Speaker registering its objection regarding the seating arrangement.
