A Virginia grand jury also indicted a Mensah Park resident on charges of murder and disposing of his wife’s body. He was then accused of making suspicious purchases. Mamata was found missing since August 5 during a health checkup by local authorities.

The lawyers claimed that Bhatt had disposed of the bloodstained mat. Bhatt’s lawyer argued that his wife was still alive. But DNA evidence shows his blood was found at the home. This shows that he was murdered and his body was disposed of.
