Rakesh Kesharwani, a resident of Kotwali police station area, was so harassed by the cyber fraud that he committed suicide because the fraud had made an obscene video of Rakesh by making a video call on WhatsApp. The fraudster used to extort an amount of money from him by threatening to make the obscene video viral on social media and ultimately Rakesh ended his life after getting upset. Chitrakoot Police took the matter seriously and with the joint efforts of the police teams, on Wednesday, the accused who blackmailed by making obscene videos through video calling was arrested. The accused also confessed to his crime and the police also found evidence from his mobile.
Disclosing the incident, the Area Officer, Nagar, in a press conference on Wednesday said that on October 14, plaintiff Ganga Prasad, son of Ramdas, resident of Station Road, Gandhiganj, Kotwali Karvi, District Chitrakoot, was informed at Kotwali Karvi that on October 11, his deceased brother Rakesh Kesharwani was found dead. I received calls several times on mobile number 9450225055 and made obscene videos on that number and sent them on mobile and continuously demanded money. This is being done by cyber fraud. Was. On this, Rs 61500 was sent by my brother Rakesh Kesharwani to the blackmailer’s phone number 8234004754. Despite sending him, he was repeatedly blackmailed by pretending to be a police officer, due to which his brother got hurt and committed suicide by hanging himself. Due to the seriousness of the matter, a case was immediately registered in the police station in the name of unknown person under various sections and police teams were formed. The investigation was handed over to Crime Inspector Lakhan Singh.
Fraud caught through colloquial language after coming to Chitrakoot
Inspector Crime and his team received information that a person was standing near Shambhu Petrop Pump. The spoken language seems to be of Mathura and Rajasthan. He is talking about meeting a lawyer in connection with an online fraud case. Immediately upon receiving the information, the person was arrested using necessary force and reached the spot. The arrested person was arrested after giving reason and when asked for his name and address, he told his name as Sarfaraz Khan, son of Abrar, resident of Akata police station, Cama district, Deeng Rajasthan. One mobile phone of Vivo company and a coin of Rs 1000 were recovered from the arrested person during search. When a strict inquiry was made regarding the recording video recovered from the mobile, it was revealed that on October 11, by inserting the SIM of the same mobile Vivo company mobile no. 9935025171, I had talked to Rakesh Kesharwani on the mobile number 9450225055, luring Rakesh Kesharwani and sending photos of beautiful girls on the mobile’s WhatsApp. Had taken it out and put it in the profile picture so that the person who was deceived would think that a girl was talking. After this, I made a video call and played the porn video already loaded on the other mobile in front of the camera of the mobile from which the video call was made. The person who was deceived used to blackmail Rakesh Kesharwani by sending obscene screen recorder video on his mobile and demanded money. But the money was not given by Rakesh Kesharwani. Then I threatened that I will make your video viral on social media which will defame you and a police case will be filed against you.
Senior cyber fraud was also resorted to
To threaten Rakesh, he was asked to scare Rakesh by posing as a police officer by sending obscene screen recording video to his senior cyber fraud Ilahi alias Liaqat son of Maqsood. Help of another senior cyber fraudster Abid son Ismail was also taken. Told that we all were being informed by Shehzad’s son Khillu that Chitrakoot Uttar Pradesh Police is searching for us continuously for 15-20 days. The CO said that on the basis of the arrest and recovery of the accused, Section 66 IT Act was omitted and Section 67 IT Act was added in the above mentioned case.
