Maharashtra: After the assembly elections held in Maharashtra, a meeting of the BJP legislature party was held today. In which Devendra Fadnavis was elected the leader of the party and the Chief Minister of the state. Now on Thursday Fadnavis is going to take oath as Chief Minister. However, it is being said that Shinde and Ajit Pawar will become Deputy CMs. But no clarification has come regarding this yet. In such a situation, BJP wants to keep the Home Ministry with itself. At present no official announcement has been made in this regard. There was talk that Shiv Sena President Eknath Shinde also wants to keep the Home Ministry with himself.
Confusion over ministry sharing!
The situation is not yet clear regarding the distribution of ministries in Maharashtra. It is being said that there are differences between BJP and Shiv Sena regarding this. There is also a possibility that Fadnavis and Shinde may meet on Wednesday. Earlier, both the leaders held a meeting at Shinde’s house on Tuesday evening, which lasted for about an hour.
Will Fadnavis keep the Home Ministry with himself?
According to sources in a report, BJP wants the Home Ministry to remain with Fadnavis. The special thing is that he had the same ministry in Shinde government also. Sources also said that Shinde has been offered the Urban Development Ministry, other ministries and the post of Deputy CM. At present, there has been no reaction from Shiv Sena President regarding this decision.
Shinde is adamant on getting Home Ministry
It was being said that Shinde wanted the Home Ministry. But a decision could not be taken on this. According to a media report, when Shinde formed the government in alliance with BJP in 2022. Still he wanted to keep the Home Ministry with himself. But Fadnavis kept this ministry with himself along with the Deputy CM. It is being told that in the year 2019, when undivided Shiv Sena formed the government with Maha Vikas Aghadi. Still Shinde insisted on the Home Ministry. But then the Home Ministry was given to the undivided Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). In such a situation, it is being said that this time Shinde will not let the Home Ministry go away from him at any cost.
