Islamabad: Anti-terrorism court on Monday evening sent former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on 14-day ‘judicial remand’ in 7 new cases, which has angered his party ‘Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf’ (PTI). .

The former cricketer, who was lodged for months in Adiala Jail, considered to be the toughest jail of Pakistan, was tried in the same jail. After this, the police asked for 14 days more remand because his 6 days remand had ended, Judge Amjad Ali Shah gave him 14 days judicial remand.

A case was registered against Imran Khan at New Town Police Station in Lahore. Apart from this, there have also been six other cases. His party said, all these new cases have come to light.

The judge did not accept the police’s demand for ‘physical remand’ in respect of six new cases registered between September 28 and October 4 and 5.

Several cases have been registered against Imran Khan and his party for rioting during the protests.

Experts are most worried about whether Imran Khan will come out of jail alive or not, considering the tradition of Pakistan. Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Zulfikar Ali Bhutto died in custody. Then such a drama was created that their bodies were hanged and they were hanged.

His daughter Benazir Bhutto was assassinated.

Given Pakistan’s tradition of cracking down on opponents, pundits doubt whether Imran Khan will come out of jail alive.
