Hathras, 03 December (HS). On Tuesday, four more women candidates submitted their nominations for the by-election for the post of member to be held in Ward No. 17 of Nagar Panchayat Sadabad. Thus far, nominations have been filed by six women candidates.
Let us tell you that after the death of ward number 17 councilor Sunita Aggarwal, this ward was vacant for the last 6 months. As per the dates announced by the government, nomination papers were purchased by eight women applicants. Of these, nominations have been made on Monday by Renu Agarwal, wife of Rajesh Jindal, Bhavna Agarwal, wife of Manoj Jindal. Bhuri Patni Nawab was nominated by the Samajwadi Party on Tuesday, although the SP symbol has not been received yet. Apart from this, nomination papers have been submitted by Afsana’s wife Ikram, Gudiya’s wife Bhura, Mamta Aggarwal’s wife Manish Kumar.
Let us tell you here that the number of voters in this ward is around 1897, out of which around 750 are Hindu voters and 1147 are Muslim voters. This ward was developed about 15 years ago. In which Sunita Agarwal has been elected twice, Anupam Jindal once and Shripal Baghel once. But till date the Muslim candidate has not been able to win the election this time but this time with the nomination of three Vaishya women candidates and three Muslim women candidates, the ward elections may reach an interesting situation. The status of the election will become clear only after the withdrawal of nominations made by 6 people.
Former SP District President Chaudhary Bhajuddin and SP District General Secretary Zainuddin Chaudhary, senior leaders Mansoor Ahmed and Hafiz Shafiq Qureshi, Master Rafiq, Councilor Ghan Hameed were included in the filing of nomination papers of SP supported candidate Bhuri Begum wife of Nawab Mulla for the by-election of Ward No. 17 Nagar Panchayat Sadabad councilor. Khan Abbasi, Mohammad Chand, Nasir Abbasi, Anish Haji ji, Zafaruddin Rain, Aslam Qureshi, Bablu VIP Furniture, Shahid Khan, Aamir Khan, Asif Rain and others were present.
