Ensure disposal of public complaints on priority: Deputy Chief Minister

Deoria, 3 December (Hindustan Reporter). A review meeting of development programs and law and order was held today in the Gandhi Auditorium located at Vikas Bhawan under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya. During the meeting, he directed all the officers to pay special attention to prompt and realistic resolution of public problems and ensure quality and timely resolution of public problems by maintaining coordination and communication with public representatives. The welfare schemes of the state government should reach the common people as per the intention of the government. The Deputy Chief Minister said that resolution of public problems received from IGRS is a matter of priority for the government. All problems should be resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner. The ground reality of minimum ten percent resolved problems should be checked. Strict action will be taken against officers and personnel who are negligent in resolving public problems. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the district administration should review the proceedings of Pathar Nasab in various revenue cases at regular intervals. If any unruly element removes the stone after Nasab, then ensure strict punitive action against him.

The Deputy Chief Minister directed to run a campaign to remove illegal encroachments from Chakmargo. He said that encroachment-free roundabouts will be made accessible through MNREGA. The Deputy Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated the disabled people on the occasion of Divyang Diwas. He said that under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme, houses have been provided to 235 disabled people in the district. There are 18,519 disabled pension beneficiaries in the district. He said that the state government is fully committed to protecting the interests of the disabled. Disabled people will not be allowed to face any kind of inconvenience. Honorable Deputy Chief Minister conducted a thorough review of the Har Ghar Nal Jal Yojana. It was told that tap water supply has started in more than 350 gram panchayats in the district. On which the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister directed to ensure that tap water is supplied to every house of the Gram Panchayat. He also said that the roads dug during the laying of pipelines should be compulsorily brought back to their previous condition. In the review of paddy procurement, it was told that till now 10,804 metric tonnes have been purchased in the district. 114 paddy purchasing centers have been created for procurement. The Deputy Chief Minister said that middlemen should be discouraged from purchasing paddy and they should be kept away from the entire purchasing process. In the review of the electricity department, the Deputy Chief Minister said that after March 2023, the state government has completely waived the electricity bills of tube wells in the interest of farmers. Superintending Engineer Electricity should ensure that electricity bills are received by consumers on time and overbilling does not happen under any circumstances. He also reviewed the availability of fertilizers, Kisan Samman Nidhi Ayushman Card and destitute cow shelter in the district.

District Magistrate Divya Mittal assured the Deputy Chief Minister that compliance with the instructions given by him would be ensured.
