National Disabled Party celebrated World Disabled Day as Black Day

Kanpur, 03 December (HS). Accusing the government of not working on the interests of the disabled, the National Disabled Party celebrated World Disabled Day as Black Day. Party’s national president Virendra Kumar said that what is the use of celebrating such a day, where the government is not able to provide jobs to the disabled and the government is silent on the 11-month long ongoing strike in Lucknow. Along with this, a demand was made to provide jobs to the disabled on the posts of chief maid and accountant.

On World Disability Day, many programs are being organized by the government and it is being claimed that many schemes are being run in the interests of the disabled. At the same time, there is a radical change in the lives of the disabled, while the National Disabled Party celebrated World Disabled Day as Black Day in Kanpur on Tuesday. Workers and officials of Rashtriya Divyang Party gathered at Shastri Nagar Central Park and staged a protest. Along with this, they presented their demands by submitting a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister.

National President of Rashtriya Divyang Party, Virendra Kumar said that for the last 11 months, a protest is being held by the candidates for the post of Chief Servant and Accountant under the Divyang quota in the Eco Garden Lucknow. The government is not giving them jobs after releasing the advertisement. In such a situation, when the government cannot provide 100% guarantee of job, employment, health, education, security and disabled pension of Rs 5,000 to the disabled people, then celebrating World Disabled Day is meaningless. Said that today a 14-point demand letter has been sent to the Chief Minister. Virendra Kumar warned that a strategy will be prepared to corner the government by holding a meeting at Eco Garden, Lucknow on December 6 to provide jobs to the disabled. During this, State President Anand Tiwari, State Spokesperson Alpana Kumari, Rahul Kumar, Guddi Dixit, Ram Asare Pandey, Manoj Tyagi, Mahesh Sahu, Vaibhav Dixit, Gomti, Yashmin, Ashish Kumar, Sarla, Guddi Dixit, Vaibhav Dixit etc. were present.
