Raipur, 3 December (Hindustan Reporter). Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Lakshmi Rajwade wrote a letter to Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on December 1, requesting to expand the Ambikapur-Surajpur-Baikunthpur-Manendragarh National Highway (NH-43) from two lanes to four lanes and On the route from Gandhi Chowk in Ambikapur (district Surguja) to Kumda Mod in Parvatipuram village of Surajpur district, huge structures were built. It has been requested to get the potholes repaired soon.
Officials of the Public Relations Department issued a release on Tuesday saying that Minister Rajwade has written in the letter that due to potholes, there is a constant danger of accidents on the road and many incidents have already happened. Local people have repeatedly put this problem before them. He requested the Union Minister to take necessary steps to solve this problem quickly and complete the road construction work on priority basis. He said, I and all the residents of the area will always be grateful to you for this work.
Minister Smt. Rajwade has also written a letter to the Regional Officer, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, requesting him to immediately repair the potholes on NH-43 and direct them to take necessary action in this regard.
Minister Smt. Rajwade said, understanding the problems of the people and solving them is our priority. The double engine government will not allow any delay in solving public problems. This work is extremely important for the prevention of road accidents and the safety of people.
He further said that his government will not allow any hindrance in works of public interest. Committed to the development and good governance of the region, he looks forward to ensuring solutions to every problem of the public.
