Vidyadevi of Mirzapur and Awadhesh of Sonbhadra won in javelin throw.

Lucknow, 03 December (HS). The state level sports competition of Sarvodaya Vidyalayas, which lasted for three days, has ended. During this period the children displayed a lot of talent. Vidya Devi of Mirzapur stood first in the girls category of javelin throw. In the boys category, Awadhesh of Sonbhadra won. On the closing occasion, Social Welfare Minister Aseem Arun encouraged the children.

In volleyball, Gorakhpur was the winner and Prayagraj was the runner-up in the girls category. In the boys category, Mirzapur was the winner and Prayagraj was the runner-up. In Kabaddi, Gorakhpur was the winner and Lucknow was the runner-up in the girls category. In the boys category, Mirzapur was the winner and Prayagraj was the runner-up. In the 200 meter race, Julie of Rae Bareli stood first in the girls category and Vineeta of Kaushambi stood third. In the boys category, Yogesh Yadav of Etawah Kandani stood first and Sandeep Kumar of Sonbhadra Duddhi stood second. In the girls category in 400 meter race, Julie of Rae Bareli got first position and Vineeta of Kaushambi got third position. In the boys category, Ankit Yadav of Lalitpur stood first and Vijaybhan of Basti Bhanpur stood second.

In the girls’ javelin throw, Vidya Devi of Mirzapur Madihan stood first and Yashwani of Bijnor Dholagarh stood second. In the boys category, Awadhesh of Sonbhadra Ghorawal stood first, while Ajay Pal of Etawah Nagla Hiralal stood second. In long jump, in the girls category, Sakshi of Kaurihar Prayagraj stood first and Reena Yadav of Azamgarh Mehnagar stood second. In the boys category, Pawan Kumar of Fatehpur Khas Mau stood first and Armaan Arya of Jhansi stood second.
