ISRO Gaganyaan Mission : While the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is continuously making India proud with its achievements, ISRO Chairman S. Somnath has shared important information about Gaganyaan Mission. According to him, India will launch the Gaganyaan mission by the end of 2026. He has also said that for the mission, first robots will be sent into space, then astronauts will be sent. The mission’s first unmanned flight is expected to take place early next year. After its success, the human mission will be launched by the end of 2026.

ISRO Chairman participated in the ‘India International Science Festival-2024’ organized at IIT Guwahati. More than 20 thousand participants came to this festival. He addressed 4500 students during the Student Science Interactive Programme. During this, he appealed to the students to make career in the field of science and technology.
Gaganyaan rocket ready: S. Somnath
He said, ‘We have been working on the Gaganyaan mission for the last four years. The rocket is completely ready. The first unmanned flight will be launched early next year. Earlier we were going to launch it in December, but due to technical reasons it has been postponed.
Three tests will be conducted before the manned mission
According to him, three tests will be conducted before starting unmanned flight in 2026. In the first test, a robot named Vyommitra will be sent into space. The exam will be conducted early next year. After that two more tests will be done. Astronauts will be sent after three tests are successful.
Highlights of Gaganyaan Mission
ISRO is working hard to launch the Gaganyaan mission in the next two years. This mission will last for three days and its main objective is to send astronauts 400 kilometers away from the Earth and bring them back safely. Only three countries have been able to achieve this feat so far. If this mission is successful then India’s name will also be written in golden letters.
Green signal given to Venus mission
The Government of India has approved the Shukrayaan mission. This mission will be launched in 2028. The government has also approved the establishment of an Indian space station. India’s own space station will be ready by 2035. There will be a total of five modules in it. The first module will be launched in 2028. On the other hand, India is preparing for Chandrayaan-4 mission, in which Japan can also participate. The main objective of this mission is to bring soil samples from the Moon. The weight of Chandrayaan-4’s rover will be 350 kg.
