The final match of Physically Disabled Challengers Trophy 2024 will be held on the occasion of International Disability Day.

Jaipur, 2 December (Hindustan Reporter). The third day of the Physically Disabled Challengers Trophy 2024 was full of excitement. There was a lot of excitement and passion seen on the field and in the audience when Team India-A entered the final. This trophy is being organized by Rajasthan Disabled Cricket Association (RDCA) in collaboration with Petroleum Sports Promotion Board and State Bank of India at Jaipuria Cricket Academy. The final match of this tournament will be played on December 3 at 10 am.

Encouraging all the players, Shri Kanhaiya Lal Chaudhary, Minister of PHED Department, Government of Rajasthan said that this tournament is proving to be a game changer. I congratulate all these differently abled cricketers for their bright future.

The first knock out match of the third day of the Physically Disabled Challengers Trophy 2024 was played between India-A and India-C. Playing first, India A posted a mammoth score of 173/7. Team India-A lost the first three wickets at a very low score (20/3), after which team captain Ravindra Shante scored 56 runs in 36 balls and Deepesh Bharti made an important partnership of 46 runs in 27 balls. He brought the team to a strong position. Team India-C lost its first wicket in the second over while chasing the target. Jaswant Singh performed a fighting inning for the team and played an unbeaten inning of 29 runs in 34 balls. Team India-A won this match by 46 runs. India-A captain Ravindra Shante was awarded the title of Player of the Match.

The second match of the third day was played between Team India-B and India-Senior. After winning the toss, Team India-B decided to bat first. Team India-B captain Kunal Phanse was out on zero on the very first ball of the first over and walked towards the pavilion. For Team India-B, Waqar Younis performed brilliantly and scored 43 runs in 24 balls. Team India-B could score only 144/4 runs in 20 overs. While chasing the target, both the openers of India Senior, Surendra Kumar and Prasad Chavan batted brilliantly and gave a strong start to the team. Surendra Kumar contributed 34 runs in 25 balls and Prasad Chavan contributed 49 runs in 44 balls. India-Senior won this match by 7 wickets and secured their place in the final. Prasad Chavan was awarded the Player of the Match award.

The final match will be played at Jaipuria Cricket Academy on 3rd December at 10 am on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
