Release of the English version of the book written on the contribution of Muslims in the freedom struggle on 5th

Hyderabad, 2 December (Hindustan Reporter). The book ‘Lahu Bolta Bhi Hai’, which highlights the role of Muslims in India’s freedom struggle, is once again in the news. The English version of this book by eminent socialist thinker Syed Shahnawaz Ahmed Qadri will be released by Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu on December 5 in Hyderabad. Hindi and Urdu versions of this book have already been published.

Regarding this book, writer Syed Shahnawaz Ahmed Qadri said that Muslim patriots were ignored in writing the history of the country’s freedom struggle. Through this book of ours, an attempt has been made to stay away from all the previous prejudices and distortions and bring forward the contribution and sacrifices of Muslims in the independence of the country. He said that those who wrote the history of the country’s independence hid the contribution of Muslim patriots. His thinking behind this was a well thought out conspiracy. Through this book, an attempt was made to bring out the names of all the known and unknown Muslim patriots who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle from every corner of the country. In the first Hindi edition of this book ‘Lahu Bolta Bhi Hai’, names of 1233 Muslim patriots were included, of which 40 were women.

Names of were also included. After this, in the Urdu version of this book, 1748 Muslim patriots who sacrificed everything for freedom are included.

in which the names of 41 women have been included. Qadri said that the English version of this book is ready, which has been printed in 2426 copies across the country.

The names of Muslim patriots and their sacrifices have been collected, which also includes the names of 51 women.

He told that in this book, the movements and exploits of the Muslim patriots of South India during the freedom struggle have been mentioned extensively. For this, various books and government gazettes were studied and researched on a large scale. In this, along with the names and deeds of Muslim patriots, the tortures of the British government and their financial punishments etc. are also mentioned in an attractive and accessible style.

He told that the English version of this book will be launched by the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Bhatti Vikramark Mallu on December 5 at Rabindra Bharati Auditorium located on Ladikapul Road in Hyderabad. The event was accompanied by State Revenue Minister P. Srinivas Reddy, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister Sridhar Babu, Environment and Forest and Endowment Minister Konda Surekha, Transport and BC Welfare Department Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, MP R Raghuram Reddy and Telangana B Mahesh Kumar Gaur will join as State Congress Committee President. He said that the main speakers of the program included Vice Chairman of Muslim Personal Law Board and former MP Maulana Ubaid Ullah Azmi, renowned socialist thinker and writer Raghu Thakur, Rajya Sabha member Javed Ali Khan, historian and writer Syed Naseer Ahmed, social worker Dr. Suresh Khairnar, Supreme Court. Advocate Mohammed Irshad Ahmed and PMF founder and president Sirajun Rehman will be the chief.
