However, DM Praveen Kumar Lakshkar himself took to the streets along with the government staff on Monday after coming face to face with the concern of the people. Walked through the busiest areas to learn and understand the problems. He gave necessary instructions to the officers.
Seeing District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Lakshkar walking on the road, people are hopeful of improvement in the traffic system. People were seen saying that now the traffic system will become efficient. Actually, due to the increasing population of Ballia city, the traffic load has increased. To further strengthen this, on Monday we got to know the reality by taking a walking tour with the officials from the bus depot to Chittu Pandey intersection via the railway crossing. The District Magistrate directed Municipal Council EO Subhash Kumar and Additional Superintendent of Police Kripashankar to remove the encroachment on the roadside and under the railway over bridge.
He instructed the Executive Engineer of PWD for road widening. He also gave necessary directions to the railway officials. Besides, instructions were also given to the Executive Officer of NAPA to shift the fruit and vegetable vendors. Additional District Magistrate DP Singh, Chief Revenue Officer Tribhuvan, Additional Superintendent of Police Kripa Shankar, City Magistrate Indrakant Dwivedi and Railway officials were also present during the visit.
