Haridwar, 02 December (HS). The married woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing her in-laws of harassing her. The woman has accused her mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law of harassing her. There is also an allegation of beating him and throwing him out of the house. In the case, the police have registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
A woman resident of Keshav Nagar, Laksar gave a complaint to the Kotwali police and said that she was married to a young man resident of Mukherjee Nagar, Jagatpura Udham Singh Nagar. It is alleged that soon after the marriage, her in-laws started harassing her. Mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law started harassing her in various ways. Due to public shame, she tolerated everything at first. When there was no improvement, the woman reached the helpline. Meanwhile, after the agreement reached at Women Helpline Roorkee, she again went to her in-laws’ house, but the attitude of her in-laws did not change.
It is alleged that two months ago, her in-laws beat her up and threw her out of the house. Somehow she reached one of her relatives and informed about the matter. On this his relative took him to his maternal home. On the complaint of the married woman, the police have registered a case against the accused mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law.
