Moradabad, 02 December (HS). A delegation of Samajwadi Party reached Moradabad District Jail on Monday to meet the accused sent to jail in Sambhal violence over the temple-mosque dispute. This delegation included former leader of Samajwadi Party Parliamentary Party, Dr. ST Hasan and MLA.
Samajwadi Party representatives and leaders had put up a slip seeking permission to meet the accused in jail in the Sambhal violence. Moradabad District Jail Senior Superintendent PP Singh said that 15 people have been given permission to meet in the jail. All of them had given slips to meet 5-6 people in the jail. These have been allowed as per rules.
A total of 15 people including former Moradabad Lok Sabha MP Dr. ST Hasan, Thakurdwara MLA Nawab Jan Khan, Amroha’s Naugawan Sadat MLA Chaudhary Samarpal Singh, former District President Athar Hussain Ansari were among those who met the accused lodged in the Sambhal violence in the district jail.
