Varanasi, 30 November (HS). Absconding director Ramkumar Patel, accused of embezzling crores of rupees from the common man by forming Skymarg Finance Society, was finally caught by the police team. On Saturday, the Varanasi unit team of Economic Offenses Research Organization (EOW) got this success.
Inspector Sunil Kumar Verma said that in the year 2015, a case was registered against the accused in Line Bazar police station of Jaunpur. Native of Hooghly, Kolkata, address: Bahlolpur, Cholapur, Ramkumar Patel, son of Shivmurat, embezzled crores of rupees from the public along with his associates by forming Skymarg Finance Society. The investigation of this case was handed over to EOW. The team was busy searching for the accused for a long time. The accused was arrested from Cholapur area. The accused has already gone to jail in the past in a chit fund case from Sigra police station of Varanasi. Inspector Sunil Kumar Verma, Chief Constable Chedi Singh, Vinod Yadav and Subhash Yadav were included in the arrest team.
