Gwalior, 30 November (HS). A sudden fire broke out late on Friday night in the government bungalow of Madhya Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla in Gwalior. In this incident all the goods were burnt to ashes. The news of fire in the minister’s bungalow created a stir, but at the time the fire broke out, minister Rakesh Shukla was not present at his bungalow. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire after a lot of effort. The reasons for the fire are not yet known. Minister Rakesh Shukla has an official bungalow in Thatipur area of Gwalior. A terrible storm suddenly struck here late on Friday night. The fire broke out due to a short circuit in the guard room inside the bungalow and spread slowly. The minister was not at home at the time of the fire incident. He had gone to Delhi. There were employees in his bungalow. There was panic after the fire. As soon as the news of the fire was received, the fire brigade reached the spot and had to make a lot of efforts to extinguish the fire. Because the power supply to the entire area was stopped. Due to this, the fire brigade personnel had to extinguish the fire in the light of the headlights of the two-wheelers. Then the fire could be extinguished with the help of two vehicles. At present there has been no loss of life.
In this regard, Superintending Engineer of Electricity Corporation, Dr. Atibal Singh Yadav says that the fire broke out due to short circuit. There was a guard room where the fire broke out. The board burned and its sparks fell on the bed below. After this the fire flared up rapidly. Two beds and sofas have been burnt due to the fire. Soon the fire was completely controlled. Police are investigating the cause of the arson.
