Next hearing in Land for Job case on December 23

New Delhi, 30 November (HS). Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has postponed the hearing of the Land for Job case. Special judge Vishal Gogane ordered the next hearing of the case on December 23.

During the hearing today, the lawyers appearing for the accused said that it will take time for them to examine about 10,000 pages of documents presented by the ED. After that the court ordered the next hearing of the case on 23 December. On October 25, the court had directed the accused to match the documents received by them with the charge sheet filed in the court. In this case, on October 7, the court had granted bail to seven accused including Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav. The court had granted bail to all the accused on a bond of Rs 1 lakh each. In this case, on March 7, the court had granted regular bail to Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hima Yadav and Hridayanand Chaudhary in the ED case.

The court had taken cognizance of the first supplementary charge sheet filed by the ED on September 18. The court had issued summons to seven accused including Lalu, Tejashwi, Tej Pratap to appear in the court. The accused to whom the court has issued summons include Lalu, Tejashwi, Tej Pratap, Akhileshwar Singh, Kiran Devi, Hazari Prasad Rai, Sanjay Rai and Dharmendra Singh. ED had filed the first supplementary charge sheet in this case on August 6. ED has made 11 people accused in the charge sheet. 96 documents have been presented as evidence in the charge sheet. On March 7, the court had granted regular bail to Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti, Hima Yadav and Hridayanand Chaudhary in the ED case. In this case, the court had taken cognizance of the charge sheet filed by ED on January 27. On January 9, ED had filed the first charge sheet in this case. ED had arrested Amit Katyal in this case.

In this matter, CBI had registered a case before ED. On October 4, 2023, the court had granted bail to former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi in ​​the case related to CBI. The court had taken cognizance of the second charge sheet filed by the CBI on 22 September 2023. On July 3, 2023, CBI had filed a supplementary charge sheet. On February 27, 2023, the court had taken cognizance of the charge sheet filed against all the accused including these three accused. On October 7, 2022, CBI had filed a charge sheet against 16 accused including Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti in the Land for Job case.
