Shivpuri, 30 November (HS). On his four-day visit, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia reached Dorar village of Gwalior division on Saturday. Where he met the family members of deceased Narad Jatav and paid tribute to the departed soul. The Minister met the family and listened carefully to the entire incident of that fateful day. He told Narad Jatav’s mother, don’t worry, this injustice that has happened to the Jatav family is being taken as strict as possible and you will definitely get justice. Union Minister Scindia assured that he himself is monitoring the matter and will work with full commitment to ensure action against the culprits. Let us tell you that two days ago, Narad Jatav of Dalit community was attacked in Indargarh village of Shivpuri, in which he died.
Dalit youth was murdered after a dispute
In Indergarh village under Subhashpura police station of Shivpuri district, Dalit youth Narad Jatav was murdered by the local sarpanch and his family members over a dispute regarding water supply. In this case, the police have registered a case against 8 accused. The Dalit family alleged that their land had been encroached upon and there was a dispute over the issue of water supply to the bore. After this, Dalit youth Narad was beaten to death with sticks.
CM has also given instructions for action
Police have arrested four accused after registering a case against eight accused in this case. Efforts are being made to arrest the remaining accused. CM Mohan Yadav has also given instructions to the officials to take strict action in this matter. Apart from this, CM Mohan Yadav has also provided financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the victim’s family.
