Who will be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra is still under question, but the date and place of swearing-in of the government has been decided. According to sources, the swearing in of the new government will take place on December 5 at Azad Maidan in Mumbai.

The new grand alliance government may take oath on December 5. Mumbai’s historic Azad Maidan has been chosen for the grand swearing-in ceremony. Here all the ministers including the Chief Minister will take oath. However, information about how many cabinet ministers will take oath along with the Chief Minister has not been revealed yet.

According to sources, BJP has started the process of swearing in of the government. State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule himself is active in this entire matter. Bawankule is giving information to the MLAs about the swearing in.

Legislative party meeting on 2 or 3 December

According to BJP sources, the meeting of MLAs will be held in the capital Mumbai on 2 or 3 December. The leader of the legislature party will be selected in this meeting. BJP will send observers from the Center to select the MLA leader. The claim to form the government will be staked immediately after the meeting of the MLAs. After this the date of swearing in will be officially announced.

The swearing in ceremony took place at Wankhede and Shivaji Park.

When Devendra Fadnavis became the Chief Minister in 2014, he took oath at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in this ceremony. This government of Fadnavis lasted for 5 years. In 2019, Fadnavis became the Chief Minister for the second time, but this time the swearing-in ceremony was held at Raj Bhavan itself. In 2019, the Fadnavis government could not even reach the Assembly for the trust vote. When Uddhav became the Chief Minister, he chose Shivaji Maidan for his swearing-in ceremony. Bala Saheb Thackeray’s last rites were performed at Shivaji Maidan itself. This ground is considered very important for Shiv Sena.
