All-rounder Hardik Pandya continued his brilliant batting, hitting 28 runs and five sixes in one over from spinner Parvez Sultan, as Baroda defeated Tripura by seven wickets in the Group B match of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Chasing the target of 110 runs, Baroda won the match in 11.2 overs with the help of Hardik’s 47 runs in 23 balls. Baroda has won all four matches.

In the Group-E match, Kerala team defeated Mumbai by 43 runs. In this match, Shardul Thakur recorded the most expensive bowling spell in the history of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
