MBBS students took oath before dissection to always give respect to the dead body.

Shahjahanpur, 29 November (HS). On Friday, the body swearing and honoring ceremony was organized by the Anatomy Department in the Autonomous State Medical College.

The program was presided over by Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal of the Medical College. Dr. Amit Kumar Saxena told that MBBS students take oath and affirmation before starting the dead body dissection. The purpose of this oath is that the students should behave appropriately with the dead body and by paying homage to the soul of the dead body, it works to encourage sympathetic thoughts in the minds of young doctors.

Under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Dr. Amit Kumar Saxena, the MBBS students took a pledge in the oath taking ceremony that they will always respect the dead body because it is our first teacher of anatomy. Will always respect the privacy of the dead body. Will use the knowledge acquired from the dead body to serve the society. Will do justice to the great sacrifice of the dead body. We realize your kind and courageous act by donating your body for the purpose of learning. We will always be grateful to you and your family for this act of living after death.
