Jammu, 29 November (HIST). A protest was organized here in Jammu under the leadership of Movement Kalki against the atrocities being committed on the Hindu community in Bangladesh. A large number of women and men participated in this demonstration. The protest was led by prominent members of Movement Kalki, Vikram Mahajan, Sanjeev Dubey, Advocate Someshwar Kohli, and Monica Sharma.
During the demonstration, Vikram Mahajan said that it is a matter of shame that atrocities are being committed on the Hindu community in Bangladesh and the whole world is sitting as a mute spectator. Women are becoming victims of rape and abuse. Hindus are being intimidated, threatened and killed but no one is raising voice on this. We urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to immediately intervene in this matter and ensure that people of the Hindu community are not subjected to atrocities in any country in the world.
While expressing her views, Monica Sharma said that we are not learning from our mistakes. How long will the Hindu community continue to endure the harassment? Women are being humiliated in Bangladesh and they are being treated inhumanely. Our society is silent even after seeing all this. Movement Kalki promises that wherever there is injustice, we will stand there and raise our voice. Advocate Someshwar Kohli, who is a member of the Legal Advisory Board of Movement Kalki, said that Mr. Chinmoy Krishna Das, who was the voice of the Hindu community in Bangladesh, was arrested and put in jail. This is injustice. He was just demanding justice and standing up for innocent people. Neither the government nor the international community is doing anything on this. Now the time has come that the entire world should come together and teach a lesson to such forces.
