Haridwar, 29 November (HS). In the 11th convocation of Uttarakhand Sanskrit University, Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd.) honored Dr. Chinmay Pandya, Pro Vice Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University, with the honorary degree of D.Litt.
Dr. Pandya, the youth representative of All World Gayatri Parivar, was given this honor for his contributions in various fields. Dr. Pandya is involved in bringing spiritual awareness across the world, spreading yoga and meditation, preserving and promoting Vedic culture, values and traditions, efforts to empower women, imparting skills to youth, environmental protection, promoting sustainable lifestyle. For the last many years, he has been engaged in spreading the message of spirituality and culture by spreading value based education and representing India in global organizations.
He has made immense contribution in the field of education, social service and personal development. He utilizes his expertise not only in the academic field but also from personal and social perspective to empower the students and the society as a whole. The guidance given by him has inspired many students and professionals to achieve success in life.
