Maharashtra Politics: Suspense still persists regarding the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. A meeting was held today at the residence of Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi regarding the name of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the cabinet. In this meeting, along with BJP national president JP Nadda, Maharashtra’s acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, NCP chief Ajit Pawar and other Mahayutiya leaders were present.
The meeting took place for two hours at Amit Shah’s residence.
According to reports, there was a meeting between the leaders for about 3 hours, in which the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra and the cabinet were discussed. According to sources, 21 to 22 BJP MLAs may be included in the Maharashtra cabinet.
What did acting CM Shinde say?
After the meeting, the stalwarts of the three parties involved in the alliance returned to Mumbai and now it is discussed that a meeting will be held in Mumbai in which the name of the CM will be approved. In this matter, acting CM Shinde said that our meeting with Shah was positive. This was the first meeting. Now we will hold another meeting in Mumbai in which the decision on the name of CM will be taken. Earlier, Shinde had indicated in a statement on Wednesday that it is almost certain that the Chief Minister will be from BJP. Now the name of the bus is yet to be approved. A big meeting regarding this was held last night at the house of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi.
All three leaders of Mahayuti – Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar attended the meeting. Apart from this, BJP national president JP Nadda, Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare were also present in the meeting. Earlier there were reports that the name of the Chief Minister will be announced after the meeting with Amit Shah. However, no official announcement or details have emerged in this regard.
