Police have arrested 21 Indians who had gone to Colombo on tourist visa.
He has been accused of violating tourist visa rules and setting up a computer-related business. According to the information, the police had raided a house in a city called Negombo in Sri Lanka and at that time the people present in the house were doing computer related business. It is believed that these Indians were running online marketing centres.
According to officials, this house was on rent and 21 Indians working in it have been arrested. At present he has been kept in the detention centre. After completion of the investigation he will be sent to India.
What kind of business these Indians were doing has not been officially revealed yet. According to the rules of Sri Lanka, people coming to the country on tourist visa cannot do any kind of job or any other work. These 21 Indians had reached Sri Lanka in February and March on tourist visa.
