This time some unknown person has called the control room of Mumbai Police in Maharashtra and threatened to kill the Prime Minister. Police have registered a case against an unknown person and started investigation. According to the latest update, Mumbai Police has arrested a 34-year-old woman for making a threatening call against Prime Minister Modi.
According to the information received on this matter, Mumbai Police Control Room received a call threatening to kill PM Modi. The caller said that there is a plan to kill PM Modi. According to sources, this call came in the police control room at around 9 pm last Wednesday night. Now the police has started investigating the entire matter and has arrested the 34 year old woman.
Let us tell you that the responsibility of security of the Prime Minister of the country lies exclusively with the Special Protection Group i.e. SPG. The first security cordon around the Prime Minister consists only of SPG jawans. Along with this, let us tell you that these soldiers engaged in the security of the PM are given training as per the guidelines of America’s Secret Service. The security group is equipped with modern weapons like MNF-2000 assault rifles, automatic guns and 17M revolvers.
How much is spent on the security of the Prime Minister in a day?
According to the information given by the Union Minister of State for Home in a written reply to a question in Parliament in the year 2020, Rs 1 crore 62 lakh is spent daily on the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Then it was told in the Lok Sabha that the Special Protection Group i.e. SPG provides security only to the Prime Minister.
