Wasp stings cause immediate pain and swelling. To avoid this, apply cold water or ice. For this, wrap a piece of ice in a clean cloth and shake the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes. Applying ice two to three times a day will reduce the swelling.

Honey can be used to soothe skin irritation caused by wasp stings. Honey soothes both pain and swelling. Apply honey on the place where the wasp has bitten.

Aloe vera gel

Applying aloe vera gel on wasp sting also provides relief from swelling. Aloe vera gel contains cooling agent which helps in reducing inflammation of the skin. If you have aloe vera at home, cut a fresh leaf and apply it on the bitten area.

Baking soda can also be used for wasp stings. It deactivates the wasp poison. Apply a paste of baking soda and water on the wasp sting and wash it with warm water after 10 to 15 minutes.

apple cider vinegar

Use of vinegar is also beneficial in case of wasp bite. It reduces pain and swelling and also provides relief from swelling. Apply vinegar with the help of wax on the wasp sting. Applying vinegar two to three times a day will provide quick relief.
