Islamabad: The movement started for the release of jailed former Prime Minister of Pakistan and founding leader of ‘Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’ (PTI) Imran Khan does not demand suspension. Pakistan security forces raided PTI workers and their supporters early today morning and detained several people to press for their release. Meanwhile, officials said four people were killed and more than 50 injured in clashes with police, but PTI reports that hundreds have been martyred during the agitation.

On the other hand, Imran Khan’s wife and her companion Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin managed to escape to Gandapur, initially there was concern as to where they had gone, but later it was revealed that they had reached Mansehra, their ancestral village in Gandapur. Has gone to Manshera village of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province

On the other hand, PTI leader Imran Khan said that the movement has not stopped, it has only been ‘suspended’.

Today at midnight, security forces took action against PTI workers sitting at D Chowk here and stopped all traffic. The official press release of Khan’s party in this regard said, ‘In view of the brutality of the government and the government’s move to turn the capital into a slaughterhouse in which unarmed and innocent civilians have been killed, we now put this peaceful movement on hold for the time being. Are being suspended for. Further steps will be taken as per the suggestion of our leader.

Along with this, it has also been said in the statement that, ‘The Chief Justice should seek answers from the government through suo-moto notice regarding the martyrdom of the martyred party workers.’

Observers now also fear that this movement, which has been peaceful till now, may turn violent at any time. It is not limited to Islamabad and can spread to other cities at lightning speed. A huge fire of uncontrolled inflation, hyperinflation and widespread unemployment is burning in Pakistan. Imran Khan’s arrest has sparked outrage which is likely to spread across the country.
