Ola Electric, the country’s leading two-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its vehicle portfolio with the new ‘Gig’. And has announced the launch of ‘S1 Z’ scooter range. The company says that these scooters have been launched to make electric mobility easier for the common people.
The special thing is that the starting price of this new electric scooter range is only Rs 39,999 (ex-showroom). Their official booking has also been started, which can be booked for just Rs 499.
According to information received from the company, the new range of scooters includes Ola Gig, Ola Gig+, Ola S1 Z and Ola S1 Z+. Whose prices are Rs 39,999, Rs 49,999, Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999 (ex-showroom) respectively. The company has provided a removable battery pack in these scooters, which makes their charging even easier.

The company has provided a removable 1.5 kWh battery pack in this scooter. The company claims that this scooter will give a driving range of 112 kilometers (IDC-certified) on a single charge. It has 12 inch tyres. This scooter is considered suitable for B2B business.
Ola Gig+:

This scooter was designed for gig workers traveling long distances with heavy payloads. Ola Gig Plus scooter can travel at a maximum speed of 45 kilometers per hour. The company has introduced it with a removable single/dual battery of 1.5 kWh capacity. The company claims that the single battery of this scooter gives a range of 81 kilometers, that is, with two batteries this scooter is capable of giving a range of 157 kilometers. This scooter is powered by a hub motor with a peak output of 1.5 kW.
Ola S1Z:

The company has designed S1 Z as a personal use scooter. This scooter has a 1.5 kWh removable dual battery, which has an IDC-certified range of 75 kilometers (146 kilometers x 2). Its top speed is 70 kilometers per hour. It has LCD display and physical keys. The company has given a hub motor of 2.9 kW capacity in this scooter. The company says that this scooter can accelerate from 0-20 kilometers per hour in 1.8 seconds and 0-40 kilometers per hour in 4.8 seconds.
