Hamirpur, 27 November (HS). Due to rigging in fertilizer distribution, the anger of the farmers who had lined up since morning burst out late on Wednesday evening. And shouting slogans, the farmers sat on the road of the State Highway in front of the Kurara Mandi Committee. And they continued creating ruckus for more than an hour demanding officials to come to the spot. Due to the jam, there were long lines of vehicles on both sides. And two roadways buses also got stuck in the jam. Due to which the passengers had to face problems.
Farmers allege that a home guard engaged in fertilizer distribution deposited the Aadhaar card of his favorite people and got them fertilizer first. Due to which the people who were standing in the queue since morning got angry and created a jam. Kurara police station in-charge Nandram Prajapati reached the spot and tried to convince the people. But people did not agree. The center in-charge said that the Aadhaar cards had been submitted by the police. Today two bags of fertilizer have been distributed to two hundred people. Delivery started late due to server being down. Late in the evening, ADM Suresh Kumar, SDM Additional Balram Gupta and CO Sadar Rajesh Kamal explained to the farmers and said that four counters will be made for fertilizer distribution on Thursday so that the fertilizer can be distributed quickly. Action will be taken against the home guards who have committed irregularities. From Thursday, fertilizer distribution will be under the protection of police and not home guards.
