Bikaner, 27 November (HS). Under the aegis of Rajasthan State Bharat Scout Guide District Headquarters, Bikaner, the district level five-day residential Diamond Jubilee Scout Guide Competition Rally started with the flag hoisting.
The rally was inaugurated in the chief hospitality of Bikaner West MLA Jethanand Vyas. During this, Ridmalsar Sarpanch Ramdayal Godara, Deputy Head Kesari Chand Suthar, Rishi Raj Thanvi, District Commissioner Santosh Nirvan were present as special guests. MLA Vyas said that Scout Guides become self-reliant and good citizens and play the role of responsible citizens by joining social service. He said that the youth is the foundation of the building of the country. In view of this, he called upon the youth to stay away from social evils and drugs. Assistant State Organization Commissioner Scout Ramjas Likhaala said that the rally is being organized till November 30 at Mandal Training Center Devikund Sagar. About 700 Scout Guide Rover Rangers from 53 schools of all the blocks of Bikaner district are participating in this competition rally organized on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee. Various competitions like camp art, folk dance, food plaza, skill, eco club exhibition, tableau display, march past etc. will be organized in the camp.
Director CO Scout Jaswantsingh Rajpurohit said that programs on energy conservation were organized in the camp. Local union wise patriotic song competition was organized. Activity in-charge Ghanshyam Vyas, assistant leader trainer, conducted the program.
