Auto driver Devishankar Rai (55), who was injured in a collision with the car of Rajatalab Police Station Officer recently near Harhua Ring Road intersection of Baragaon police station area, died during treatment on Wednesday afternoon. As soon as he reached Baragaon Harhua intersection, suddenly Devi Shankar Rai (55), a resident of Bhatauli village, came in front of his vehicle with his auto. Despite all the efforts of the police station head, the car collided with the auto behind. Devi Shankar was injured in the accident. After saving the Rajatalab police station chief who was surrounded by the crowd, the police sent the injured auto driver to Harhua Primary Health Center by ambulance. Where seeing his condition he was admitted to BHU Trauma Centre. The injured auto driver died during treatment today.
