Teachers should be given graduation, retirement age should be 65 years: Mahendra Kumar

Moradabad, 24 November (HS). A seminar of MJP Rohilkhand University Unit of National Educational Federation was organized at Hindu College, Moradabad on the topic Current Educational Scenario: Challenges and Solutions. In which the chief guest Mahendra Kumar, Senior Vice President of All India National Educational Federation, laid emphasis on providing graduation to teachers, raising the retirement age to 65 years and making service rules for self-financed teachers.

Special guest of the seminar, Dr. Hari Singh Dhillon, Legislative Council member from Bareilly Moradabad Teacher Graduation constituency, advocated for selection of teachers according to the duty cadre, adopting transparency in transfer policy, determining the minimum salary of self-financed teachers.

University convenor of the federation, Prof. Anil Kumar put forth the demands of giving graduation to teachers, not imposing duty in elections, making service manual of self-financed teachers etc. College Principal Prof. presiding over the seminar. Satyavrat Singh Rawat demanded proper implementation of the National Education Policy. The seminar was conducted by Dr. Bijendra Singh.
