Udaipur, 27 November (HS). North Western Railways General Manager Amitabh visited Udaipur under Ajmer division on Wednesday. During this, he inspected the redevelopment works of Udaipur Railway Station and directed the officials to complete these works in a time bound manner.
During the visit, Divisional Railway Manager Alok Aggarwal gave a presentation to the General Manager about the progress of the projects related to Udaipur station redevelopment. Chief Engineer (Construction) Ankur Jain shared detailed information on the redevelopment works and further plans.
Along with inspection of the station, the General Manager also inaugurated the newly constructed Officers Rest House “Udayakiran”. On this occasion, he inspected the facilities of the new rest house.
During the window trailing inspection on the Udaipur-Ajmer railway section, the General Manager inspected Ranapratap Nagar, Mavli, Kapasan and Bhilwara stations. He took stock of the ongoing development works under ‘Amrit Station Scheme’ and directed the officials to pay special attention to quality and time limit.
Prominent Railway officials present during the visit included Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) Ved Prakash, Principal Chief Operating Manager Madan Ram Deora, Principal Financial Advisor Geetika Pandey, Principal Chief Medical Director P.C. Meena and other officers were involved.
