Star cricketer Rishabh Pant has become the most expensive player in the IPL auction. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) paid him Rs. 27 crores, which is the biggest amount till date. With this, Pant has created a new record for the most expensive player in the history of IPL.

Only Rs 18 crore 90 lakh will be available
Rishabh Pant has been bought by Lucknow franchise for Rs 27 crore, but he will not get the full amount in one season. According to media reports, the Government of India will collect Rs 8.1 crore as tax. In such a situation, Rishabh Pant has to get only Rs 18.9 crore salary from the IPL team. Rishabh Pant can bring the trophy to Lucknow in IPL 2025.
