Kumara Chandrashekarnath Swamiji: Mahant of Vishva Vokkaliga Mahasamasthan Math Kumara Chandrashekarnath Swamiji, while urging everyone to unite for the protection of farmers and their land, said on Tuesday that a law should be brought in which the Muslim community will not have the right to vote. . There should be no Waqf Board. Grabbing someone else’s land is not religion. This statement has come at a time when there is a dispute going on regarding Waqf property.
He said that everyone should fight against the injustice being done to farmers. It is being said that Waqf Board can claim anyone’s land. This is a huge injustice. Grabbing someone else’s land is not religion. Therefore, everyone should fight to ensure that farmers’ land remains with them.
Addressing a protest meeting organized by the Bharatiya Kisan Union in Bengaluru, he said, “Farmers are the breadwinners, so they should be protected and encouraged and it should be ensured that no one takes away their land and property.”
Swamiji claimed that everyone should decide not to create Waqf Board as leaders do everything for votes. Such a law should be brought in which the Muslim community will not have the right to vote. They have done this in Pakistan where others do not have the right to vote. Similarly, in India, if we decide that they do not have the right to vote, then it will be limited in itself and everyone will be able to live in peace.
A section of farmers and others in parts of Karnataka have alleged that their lands have been marked as Waqf property, which has been opposed by various farmer groups, organizations and the opposition BJP.
