Dates explained in detail, there will be bank holidays in December

There are now counting days left in 2024. Banks will remain closed for more than half the days in the last month of the year i.e. December. However, banks will remain closed due to national and local holidays in various parts of the country. According to the RBI bank holiday calendar, there will be a total of 17 bank holidays in different states of the country. In the month of December where Goa will be liberated. On the other hand, Christmas will also be celebrated in the country. However, banks will remain closed on the fourth Sunday and second and fourth Saturday of the month. December Bank Holidays 2024

Banks will remain closed in the month of December due to the feast of St. Francis. According to the RBI website, all scheduled and non-scheduled banks of the country will remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays.

Banks will remain closed in Goa on December 3 (Friday) on the occasion of the feast day of St. Francis Xavier.

Banks will remain closed in Meghalaya on December 12 (Tuesday) on the day of Pa-Togan Nengminja Sangam.

Due to another Saturday on 14th December (Saturday), all the banks of the country will remain closed.
